Ferry travel in New Caledonia
In New Caledonia there are frequent ferry services between the main island, Loyalty Island and the Isle of Pines. There are also water taxis providing a service to the smaller islands including Ilot Maître and Ile aux Canards.
The ferry boat to the Ile des Pins (Isle of Pines) and Loyalty Island is the Betico. It is quite a good service and the VIP class includes coffee, juice and croissant served during the voyage.
