The major islands in French Polynesia are served by Air Tahiti although Air Moorea and smaller charter airlines also provide some air services.
Most flights within French Polynesia pass through Tahiti although there are also direct flights between Bora Bora and Rangiroa in the northern Tuamotus. Domestic air routes are served by modern turbo-prop aircraft, seating between 19 and 66 passengers.
