Local transport
The Connecta Bus (tel (03) 441 4471) operates three routes around Queenstown. Services run every 30 minutes to an hour and it is useful for getting to the airport, the supermarket or Remarkables Park Shopping Centre. The one-way fare is $5.50 for travel within Queenstown, although it goes as far afield as Arrowtown ($7.50). A day pass costs $13 and is valid on all services including buses to Arrowtown.
