Working in Hawaii

Because Hawaii is part of the USA, it is next to impossible for travellers to find legal work here. However there is plenty of work under the table if you don't mind taking menial casual work in restaurants, bars and hotels. Don't expect this sort of work to make you rich, however it should cover your costs while you're in Hawaii.

Things are a totally different matter if you're a US citizen. Like anywhere else in the States, you should have no problem finding work here.
